Among the patients with newly diagnosed gliomas, survival was prolonged from 11 to 12 months in those with stronger IVR. This result was statistically significant p 0.01 ; . Conclusion: In glioma patients undergoing surgery and Gliadel implantation for newly diagnosed tumors, IVR was modestly predictive of clinical response.
